Retraction Systems

In some applications, like sulfur burners, the corrosive atmosphere inside the burner shortens the life of the ignition device.

It is also important to prevent the ignition tip from overheating.

To combat these problems, TESI developed a smart, compact, optional retractable device.

It can be mounted on our standard ignition lances, either HT or HE units.

The lance passes through the cylinder, providing an easy to fit installation.

It is always difficult to install extra components inside an active burner, so the design avoids this problem.

The unit is provided with standard position switches in order to send a signal to a control room indicating proper insertion and retraction.

A solenoid valve is available on demand per customer requirements.

Also available on demand, are ATEX executions.
