IGNITERS
Forney Maxfire gas igniter systems provide a means of lighting main
burner flames. The Maxfire consists of a main tube assembly, which
has a central high-energy spark igniter electrode (HESI). The heat
output of the Maxfire can be selected to comply with N.F.P.A. codes
1,2 and 3.
Maxfires can be used to ignite gas oil or coal flames, the main tube
can be supplied in varying lengths to suit the application, compressed
air actuator cylinders can be used to withdraw the Maxfire when the
main flame is lit. |
The
HESI (high energy spark igniter) electrode can also be used to provide
direct spark ignition for gas flames, the spark is provided by a
capacitive system which produces a powerful 12 joule spark three
times per second at the special non fouling tip.
The system is of stainless steel construction and is compliant with
European and North American codes and standards. |
